The 8th race of the CRA Super Series season saw the 8th different winner, as Chris Gabehart won the rain shortened Wastequip/Galbreath 100 at O'Reilly Raceway Park . A 1st lap wreck saw several contenders taken out without a chance. Weekly front runners Scott Hantz, Eddie Van Meter and Andy Ponstein were eliminated. Several visiting teams were also taken out in the melee, as White Bear Lake, MN native Josh Vadnais and Chelsea, AL driver Josh Hamner did not continue after severe damage. The visiting teams who faired best were 3rd place finisher Charlie Bradberry from Chelsea, AL, followed by Fairfax, IA driver Landon Cassill. Hometown favorite Gabehart followed Knightstown, IN driver Jeff Lane until lap 46 when he took the lead and the weather ended the rest on lap 51. Fellow Indianapolis driver Tommy St.John rounded out the top five. Next the CRA regulars take on the tough Chicagoland area drivers at the flat 1/2 mile known as Illiana Motor Speedway, Saturday June 24th.
